Lionel Messi - v7

Same as most recently.

Barely moved. Lost ball a lot. Everyone looked for him and he created a few chances.

Good free kick.

Was ok on ball and a massive weakness off it.

Obviously I massively criticised Messi in the last couple of weeks but thought he improved today.
Stayed in his position more, slightly better decisions and a couple of runs in behind too.

But didn’t Messi already state that we weren’t doing good enough with Valverde here too? Maybe, just maybe, he wants to have a proper coach for the first time since Pep.

Messi and amigos kept EV in a job last summer and liked him.

Maybe.. just maybe... Messi and amigos should realise they are a major reason not top coach would touch the job.

too bad the messi fans who can't handle any criticism will still tell you he was great this game

It is one thing to criticise him and another to lay blame on him for everything bad, like cunts a la Serghei, JamDav and FinBarcelonafan do week in week out.

He is coming back to "Human" level of play these days but can still be incredible if we get the right type of players around him. He wont ever be the Messi of old but he can still be an incredible player for the next 2 years. We need to get the recruitment right, dont write Messi off yet. He wont want his Barca career to just die out on a low point. I expect a big bounce back from him next year.

It would be if it was true.... but do you not see the comments about the board, Setien, Suarez, Busquets, Alba, Pique etc?

So no not accurate you stupid cunt.

Already excited about next season. Things surely have to change now dont they? Probably not. Players to go on relaxing vacation and will come to terms with past season only to repeat the complaints next year.

Stop kidding yourself. Top coaches love challenges, that’s what makes them just that, a top coach. Plus, not many would be able to say no the kind of money we offer our coaches. A real great manager would come here and get rid of Messi’s amigos, tell him that’s how it’s going to be whether he likes it or not.

don't worry, that excitement won't last long when you see Suarez in the starting line up Matchday #1

His post-match comments are quite funny.
The biggest contributor to Barca playing at low intensity and lacking off the ball movement says that Barca plays at low intensity and has to improve.

Nah you are one kidding yourself.

No top coach would come to this Barca with this group of older players with such power.

The team is tactically not flexible, risk of being coach that sees Messi leave and if win Messi gets all the credit.

Not happening.

By the time that team is ready he will be 35/36 and walk even more.
Messi is the goat to me but he is to blame for this situation as well.
He prefers comfort and playing with his friends over the best interest of the club and ruthless ambition.
Why else would he otherwise back a spineless enabler like VValverde?

He cant really believe you can keep valverde, have amigo-s run the club and not get humiliated on the pitch for it?
If he is pissed now he will be going insane once Bayern trash us. If we get by Napoli it will be worse than 7-up

You would need a Bielsa/Van Gaal type madman that cleans house, puts in youth and leaves a foundation fkr a future board with ambitions to build on.
It certainly cant continue like this if you want to get of the AC Milan road we are currently driving on.

True but failing huge at Barca like Setien, can ruin your career.
