you'd be insane to even think barca hoard talent like bayern regularly and consistently does. literally every top talent goes to them for free or cheap prices. we have to break the bank nearly every time. bayern onthe other hand just buy the league.

they have a total monopoly of the leagues best talent (especially german) whilst Barca have to contend with Madrid and Atleti to some extent + Juve, United, City and the PL big boys. Bayern on the other hand seem to get a free run at their targets and Dortmund, their only real competition, are a selling club. they get praised alot for 'smart business' but they are pretty much a big fish in a little pond, its easy to make good business decisions when you have players like Lewa running his contract down on a free

At the end of the day, its all about degrees, big clubs get their way the overwhelming amounts of the time, if its Barca or RM that poach your talent makes little difference to the club in question.
