actually I agree and I said already that looks a dumb move from France Football, but ballon d'or is the thing he cares more as he said multiple times.

The Ballon D'or would have just been a CL decider this year with no international tournament. Whatever club won it:

City - De Bruyne
Bayern - Lewandowski
Juve - Penaldo
Barca - Messi
PSG - Mbappe

Given it's not really a proper CL format it's probably best to do away with it.

Next year you've got Euros and Copa America as well as usual CL format planned. It's probably Ronaldo's last chance to win it next year unless Portugal win the World CUp in 2022.

If he wins the CL, his PR team will force France Football to give the award to him. They forced them in 2013 to give him the award, why not again.

That was Fifa and Blatter rather than France football magazine but still a valid point.

But if anybody is feeling robbed it should be Lewandowski, who was the front-runner imo.

how many penaldos did lewandowski and ronaldo scored? can't feel sorry for lewandowski as he is playing for one of the big 3 robbers in football and the rest of the league is mickey mouse.

what i could see happen is ramos getting on the top 3. if real do a miracle and win CL it's a lock for him winning it. sure, another cunt playing for a big 3 robber team but he had the most influence imho on real winning the title.

Bayern is a top team, why shouldnt you value what they do, or what Lewa do?
Lewa has been great in the CL as well, btw.
