Lionel Messi - v7

He should go to PSG or Inter. Slower league. If Quagriela can top score at 36 Messi could easily.

Inter wont suit him at all. They play like Argentina. All disjointed with an average midfield. City would suit him the most. Doesnt matter if the premier league is tougher than italy and france. La liga and the premier league are pretty equal for the most part.

I don't think he's going back to argentina.
He once said if it's only about him, he'd do it. But it's different now. He thinks about his sons.

He could be considering an early retirement.
If he wants it, i support him. Don't change the fact that he's the barca legend and the goat.

he is far too good for argentinia. Alteast he should be here in europe till 2022 WC.

It's kind of hard to perform consistently as a new guy in a team that's at it worst in more than a decade.

i understand that. but Devils was talking about him and a "set of key players". who are those key players?

frenkie? we still don't know his potential. but he might turn out to be an important player for us.
griezmann? a total bust, up until now and we should buy him a donkey strike partner so he can play of him(that's what worked for him at atletico/france). and even then we still don't know if the fucker can find the opposition goal.
dembele? permanently injured and even then there were doubts regarding his brain being able to cope with playing for barca
semedo? never a starter material for a club like barcelona. most people in here are crying over the board extending him to 2025
coutinho?
trincao? fati? puig? all kids with potential. good luck starting them all of a sudden. might kill their careers.

i won't mention the others since we know how people in here feel about veterans. so, if those are the "key players" that we want to rebuild with....

Not sure what Koeman can say to Messi to make feel any differently than he's already heard for the past few years. Koeman isn't a bad manager, but I feel he isn't going to take us to the next level. And he's going to find it hard to replace certain members of the squad.... when we don't even have any money.

Messi must know we are not going to win the Champions League any time soon. So maybe now is the time for Messi to move to a club where they can actually compete for the Champions League for the next 3 or 4 years.

Can?t believe this guy was on vacation instead of addressing the fans about what happened and the way forward.

He didn?t have to say much but you can?t disappear from accountability like that.

He's only captain by name and seniority. Doesn't behave like a captain.

How dare he have a holiday, disgraceful.

Its common knowledge that Messi takes major defeats very badly which shows how much he cares. The club have caused this with their shocking decision making, they need to talk, not Messi.

He wouldn't come out winning in that battle. What would he say that'd make you feel better?
"Next season we'll work harder"
"We're sorry"

Pique opened his mouth and was criticized by many for it.
