They honestly don't give a shit.

They'll just use the Messi money to spend on more overrated players that we'll loan out in 12 months anyway.

Manchester City are weighing up offering Messi a long-term contract that would see him move to partner club like New York City after 3 years in the Premier League, various sources confirm.

Pretty smart. Play at City for 3 years and expand their other brand. All about those big bucks!

They could also offer Messi the chance to become an ambassador for the City Football Group, the holding company that owns a number of clubs across the world, including City and NYC FC.

He's gonna be on that oil money payroll for life.

Sheesh!

while our board are scrambling like rats. not easy to compete with oil money, but the way we handled these last years with messi is totally unacceptable. and people in here still think that messi is the biggest culprit.

Plot twist, Barca wins the league and CL without Messi and he joins City only to finish 2nd to Liverpool and losing in the Cl quarter-finals to Porto. Cementing his title as the most unfortunate footballer of the last 5 years.

Tbf aside from the joke of Barca competing for the CL...City will probably need a rebuild sooner or later and having Messi on payroll wont help with that.

Their defence looks shambles and they also have an aging midfield. Not sure if Pep will stay for 3 more years either.

Haha yeah, their defence is a joke. For the first time Pep is getting genuinely questioned for how much he's spent only to regress the whole backline.

Pretty sure if fans knew they will bring this Setien clown they wouldn't want Failverde out. Anyway, we would've get battered by Bayern for sure

You are wrong, majority here said that any manager will improve Barca. Then Setien the master tactician will bring beautiful football back
