Lionel Messi - v7

Asking a player to terminate contract or partial pay off is fine and can benefit both parties.

If player refuses club have to pay up.

The two situations are not even remotely similar.
I am sure we are going to pay of these contracts considering we are fucking broke. Its clear what we are trying to do. If they dont go they wont play a.minute of a game so if they care about it they better go. Hopefully no one leaves as they have good contracts and it makes 0 sense to go just because Barto overpayed you and now wants you out when he is pennyless.

Absolutely any player not taking termination has to face prospect of not playing.

Club should make that clear.

The FC Messi gang insulting a lot of the users in this forum should be moderated more. Some very unacceptable replies in this thread. Disgusting

After activating the release clause that Leo and his lawyers consider still in force, the captain believes that he no longer belongs to Barcelona.

That is why he considers that he should not submit to their discipline or participate in their activities (he will not go tomorrow for the PCR tests).

Barcelona will reply with another burofax telling him that he has a contract and must appear.

I hate Barto but i hope he takes this guy to court

It's been reported that City are willing to pay or trade certain players like Eric Garcia and Angelino for him. Can only offer something and start negotiating when Bartomeu agrees to sit down and do it. Right now he's not willing to meet or talk with Messi, his father or his laweyers.

And this, and they reportedly still want Barca to negotiate a sale with Man City, but explain that to these Fox News watching idiots who believe this is a FIFA 20 Career Mode simulation where you can do whatever you want and are in charge 100% of the time.

City can fuck off with their pish players. Barto too.

Honestly this is turning into a soap opera when it doesn't need to be.

Not impressed with Leo's lack of professionalism either.

Just let him go and negotiate a decent fee otherwise this is going to get much uglier.

All I can see are arseholes everywhere.

That's a classic lawyer suggestion.

If he goes, it will be used against him in court. He must act like he believes in what he claims.

I don't like what Messi is doing. However ,considering the circumstances legally. Not showing up is better for his case.

I changed my mind. Messi should stay till June next year. When his contracts expires he should go to Newells and call it quits in 2 years time.

We should kick Barto and gang out of this fucking club because they absolutely ruined shit ever since they came here. This generation should have won much more.

I can see him scoring 40-50 not celebrating one because we wont be winning shit with this squad anyway.

Although I think he deserves a (small) proportion of the blame for the situation we're in, I now understand why he has no faith in the club's project moving forward, especially if Koeman discussed their plans with him. Wijnaldum ffs - it's the same type of bang-average 'combative' midfielder that we used to sign under Enrique.

Given how hard Liverpool has cucked us over the last few years, I wouldn't be surprised if we spent 50 million on Origi next. Here you go Liverpool.

No wonder Messi wants out. We haven't learned anything!

He won't go to Newells. Part of me still think this is also about 2022 Worldcup. He want to be in a high level team. Compete in high level football. Keep his level.
