He could have made a statement to the fans, but the situation is such that for now it's better to sort stuff out with the club first. It's the practical and probably the most sensible approach. Once that starts trending in the right direction I expect him to explain himself.

I remember that game against PSG where he came on, clearly injured, limping and barely able to do anything, nevertheless it put the fear of God into their players and we were able to advance. Speaks more of PSG though that 10% of Messi was enough to send them packing but still funny.

Definitly, he was clutch vs Milan as well. Or Bilbao when he came on injured a few games later and scored an awesome winner.

Messi is not Michael Jordan when it comes to mindset or even Kobe or Ronaldo but he is way more clutch than somep people make him out to be.

Not really disagreeing here but how do we compare 2 sports that different though? In basketball one player can make a bigger difference as they are one of 10 players on a court of 30x15m instead of 1 of 22 on a 106x68m pitch.

Also how does Reinsdorf, Krause, Phil Jackson compare to what we have now or had for the last 10 years? Only Laporta Pep tandem comes close, everything else is just way inferior.

Anyway, comparing across sports is not accurate and shouldn't be done but to each his own. Just my 2 cents.

Ronaldo was a great striker for madrid with a lot of help that’s all and we should compare him to players like aguero lewandowski benzima etc

There is actually more praise and love for the guy on the Real Madrid subreddit than you find on here these days. No wonder majority of the great posters left this forum during the last couple of years. Including great mods like Flavia, Galning etc. Somewhere along the way this became a place for extremists.

Forums in general get tiring, exhausting and you have to move on from it after a while. Been suffering a somewhat of a burn out myself the last few years. Stopped arguing a million times in game threads and game chats. Prefer to watch the games mostly alone in peace now. It's a cycle like Barcelona, new blood need to take over, but if the new blood consist of guys like Messigician we're doomed

Hard to accept the end of the era but to be quite frank I haven't been enjoying Barca for 2 years at least and we were kinda suffering a slow death all this time.

We hit the bottom and now only way is up. That's comforting in itself.
