Lionel Messi - v7

if true, then they are idiots. I would imagine Barto has a fleet of experienced lawyers instead of Jorge Messi who probably doesn't even have a JD/relevant experience.

Barto doesn't lose lawsuits either lmao.

This cat literally won every lawsuit that was filed against him over his entire presidency. If only Barto was as a good at building football teams as he is at winning lawsuits smhhhhhhh.

How can a guy with so much money not have the best lawyers?

Also how cn Barto be such a Teflon Don? He's managed to turn everything around and make it look like the fault of the players.
Also why are players like Pique so quiet? That guy always has something to say. Especially when there's controversy. Now, he's like a mouse.

This is amazing to me too. Why the fuk is his dad so involved in such important matters? Does anyone on this forum know if he has a career background in these matters? Why doesn?t he have a strong lawyer/PR team like other top stars in this sport and others?

I hate admitting this but man I think everyone including Messi, his dad and his lawyers have underestimated Bartomeu and just how far he's will to stand firm.

Guy is at his weakest but still somehow holding his own. Like a Protagonist in an Anime who got fucked up near death but somehow pulls a powerup out of his ass to win it. :staringpep:

Messi's father was a factory worker, no college education. He is handling this because Leo trusts him more. They could definitely lawyer up but this would mean war and that's not what Messi wants. The lawyers will drag it to court because that's how they earn their leaving and it could go forever which what the attorneys want. Plus , relationships sometimes work better. All this time Barto and Messi's father negotiated contracts and they build relationship. He can get more out of Barto using his relationship power than high class lawyers. My opinion: Messi is doing the right thing not going full war against the club.

Everyone was sure Neymar woukd return sky sports Italy confirming the deal with tier 1 source.

Only for talks to breakdown and Neymar stayed.

Same thing will happen this time folks

Said it since the start he's staying folks.

RANT:

How did everyone miss the part about Barto "not nagotiating a transfer"? Messi is on his last season, if the "leave free" clause doesn't stand, which no one knows how will turn out. He wants to leave and we are keeping him hostage with an impossible buyout. To what end exactly?

If Barto wins this battle, both Messi and Barcelona will have lost.

To everyone in this forum that thinks Leo should have informed the club before the end of the season:

1. The season literally ended in August, not in June. So, he did inform before the end of the season. Or does he have to comply with your arbitrary views to be ethically correct?
2. Do you think Barto would have a different stance? No. He would ignore what he said about "free to leave whenever he wants" and do the same shit.
3. Would that be better for team morale ahead of the LL & CL games? No, it would be catastrophic - small difference in hindsight, but still.
4. I am pretty confident he already informed them a while ago and they ignored it, that's why the burofax thing happened, so they couldn't deny he asked out.

Messi decided to leave way before Koeman was appointed and "chated" with Suarez - so again, the "power play" and "keep my friends" conspiracies should take a hike. It's getting boring.
It's evident he didn't believe in the team since the middle of the season when he clearly stated: "We are not good enough to win the CL" and Setien thought we were..

One thing that boggles my mind is that EV's sacking and the timing of it, seems to be one of the reasons. He believed in EV way more than he should, in my opinion.

In the end, we were a far better team last year compared to this year, when it should be the exact opposite. No progress whatsoever.

This season looks bleak. We could have some improvement in midfield but we'll have the same crappy defense and a much weaker attack. Cannot comment on the coach yet.

Just play the youngsters so we can be happy about something at least.

When are you claiming Messi decided to leave?

The club cant negotiate without teams making an offer. It is no up to Barca to shop him around europe.
