Lionel Messi - v7

Going to be funny to try and watch Leo brush everything off like it was his decision to stay and he had any say in the matter. He'd love us to forget any of this happened. Somehow we should still have confidence that a project built around him next season as captain is going to succeed and he is totally committed.

Unfortunately, fans are really that daft.

Not going to lie.

Even off the pitch, he's catching Ls these days.

If he was never sure about the strength of his argument, he shouldn't have kicked up a storm like he did. Idiotic, really.

Guess he realized he would get rekt in court + with Barto refusing to let him go he decided to just live with it and stay one last season.

I'd rather we sold him but it is what it is.

I'm pretty certain he's going to say the usual bullshit that he's happy to stay and that he'll fight to win for Barcelona till the very end. He'll still be 100% committed on the pitch no matter what. He'll probably say that he misread the contract and that he has no choice but to stay. The club just won't negotiate his exit no matter what.

I doubt we'll see any of that commitment on the pitch, though. I fully expect us to see a sulking Messi when things are not going right. The good news for him is.... he can sign a pre-contract with any club he chooses to in January.
