Laporta confirms 100% that there is MORE than one club offering better contracts for Leo.

And of course it is the same last year their no sane person to believe if Leo can be out of bar?a big clubs will not move.

We still have to cut down on our salaries drastically in the years to come to be at the maximum 65-70% of the revenue to salaries ratio and recover some of the pre-corona revenue to be in the position to sign 50m+ players. That won't happen right away. Might take 2-3 years.

Moriba's entourage said the same thing! All whilst there has been a mountains of fake news surrounding the renewals of both and transfers in the club. Laporta is a lying politician. He knew he'd never be able to resign Messi lol.

i'm no fan of conspiracies, but it all points to this. they knew since months ago that it is not feasible to keep messi.

you shake hands for a new contract(on which both parties agreed) and then you tell messi's dad at the last moment that the deal is off because you just found out what are the rules of la liga? what were they expecting, money to drop from the sky?

i get it the situation is like this, but the way messi was fucked once again is unforgivable. he even voted for laporta's presidency ffs.

the man is an egomaniac like all other presidents before him. like perez. they all want to be seen as the guys that build teams and eras at clubs.

So it would seem. I'm really upset right now I was sure Laporta would have renewed him. But it seems he's a liar and had no intention to do so
