Semedo moved to an average Premier League club at 26.

If Ferran Torres, at the age of 26, plays in a club of the level of Wolverhampton, I will leave the forum, but if Ferran continues to play in a TOP club or in a club with the prefix PRE-TOP, you will leave the forum.

Are you ready, clown?

Messi is not allowed to press. FALSE

He is not allowed to press as actively as others. TRUE

So, if Leo had been involved in pressing and defending in the same way as in the 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011 and the first half of the 2011-2012 season, there would be no questions for him.

But in the 2012-2013 seasons etc he became so bad off the ball that IT BECAME unacceptable.
I never said that he isn't allowed to press. I said he doesn't have to press.

Even if it's unacceptable in your eyes, which nobody gives a damn about, coaches like Pep and Scaloni (even Klopp agrees) allow him this freedom because the trade off is and has been absolutely worth it.

As I mentioned several times, Messi is one of the very few exception to this rule.

So why didn’t pep want to sign him

Do more research online and see that Pep wanted to sign him in summer 2020.
Pep didn’t want Messi

After City were eliminated from the Champions League after their defeat vs Lyon, Guardiola travelled to his hometown Barcelona, and received a message from Messi. According to Sport, who revealed the details from the book, Messi texted, "Hello, Pep. How are you?"

The book further claims that they met at Guardiola's house the next day, and the Spaniard warned Messi about the rainy weather in Manchester. The Argentine explained his differences with the Barcelona board in a conversation that lasted for hours. The following exchange also took place reportedly:

"-In Manchester we train very hard… (Guardiola)

-I will train hard, I’m not worried. (Messi)

-And I continued making long tactical talks. Maybe you’ll get bored…

-I’ll hold on. I will put up with everything you do.
-Leo, we have grown older. Maybe we can’t stand each other anymore.

-Pep, I just want to kill it."

Gician right for once. Pep indeed didn’t want Messi. Already had his team built. Would have to flip things to incorporate him. Think would disrupt the team.

And I say that he must put pressure.
Even if he is Messi he should be at least 50% (we're talking about working without the ball) of that of an effectively pressing striker.

And I say that you cannot build effective total football within the framework of modern football if you have Messi in his team in his version, when he did not work at all without the ball.

  • Lionel Messi secretly agreed to join Chelsea for $290 million in 2014, however the deal collapsed when his father and agent, Jorge Messi, found out about it.
  • Sky Sports' Gianluca Di Marzio's says Chelsea agreed to give Messi an annual wage of $65 million plus 70% of image rights, with the Argentine keen on the deal.
  • However it crashed and burned after Messi's father was made aware of the plans by an intermediary who was angry he was squeezed out of the negotiations.

All you need to know about Messi lol

9 contract renewals in 10 years every time he’s threatened to leave he’s been rewarded with a new contract
So his father didn't knew about his son's actions despite being his main suport

Bald fraud was afraid that Messi would have make people doubt his credentials again.

In all seriousness Messi going there and destroying the league would have cast some doubts over Pep's ability as a manager.

Messi would’ve scored tons of goal. Especially with city. But other players would need to cover for his lack of defending. Don’t think that is sustainable in epl

Doable, but probably didn't want the headache. And we didn't know if Messi was open to the move or not. Living Barca for Paris hit him hard.

On the sustainability of him not pressing/defending in EPL, let me have my doubts. City with Pep at the helm had only one real rival.

Why would I do that?
Unlike a bot like you I don't throw a tantrum with a million posts in a row due to a simple joke. I don't care if you stay or go. If you stay your dumbass posts are funny since you think you're some football genius.

Get off that high horse little monkey and join the battlefield to defend your country. Your comrades calls for your help so stop wanking off to a mid player like Ferran!
