Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

How could anyone say no to 400M just to play for Barca for chump change ?

400M over Barca will be a Win-Win for both Messi and Barca's finances/rebuild.

Probably not good odds for Messi to win another UCL playing for Barca now.

How would another couple of UCL eliminations enhance Messi's legacy ?

If anyone had as much money as Messi does already, why wouldn't he do what he wants versus doing something that wouldn't make him happy for more money can't even spend in life.

Even Ronaldo waited to take Al-Nassr's money until he realized no CL contending team offered him a contract. But Messi has significant sporting value unlike Ronaldo.

Bringing him back would just diminish his legacy and delay our rebuild.
8s this the best we can do? Bringing geriatrics in like Inigo,Gundo and Messi?

He just completed football and some people still talk about legacies. Nothing that he will do at Barca will change his status. Apart from maybe winning another CL with us.

He wouldn't apologise if he already had an exit lined up... he might be looking to renew with them.

Today, they could be the only CL team offering him the money he wants. It might be either them or Saudi Arabia.

Let's see but strong suspicion the exit isn't as closed as claimed.

Dont think there is any chance of him staying.

Probably just club realised they have over reacted and Messi 'apologising' is a bit of a compromise for him to be back sooner than two weeks.

Not a good look for PSG and fans to treat players poorly when already stuggle to get big names to go there at times.

I don't think he will bloc any interesting move for money if it's more interesting than PSG.

Now how does he rate current FCB vs PSG is another story, with our current team and good luck we could end up in quarter final before facing the big boys and going out.

Us loosing to the worse Bayern squad in a decade and out of the group stage and then kicked out in EL by a serial looser like ManU was really really bad.

If he lower his wage to 15/20 outside FCB more than a team will be happy to take him on a 1+1 contract eyes closed.

The video was mainly made to bring the tension down, but yeah i agree with you as it's still not 100% guaranteed that La Liga will approve his potential transfer.

We'll see in the next month of where he will end up.

Not quite as sinister as the Verratti hostage tapes.

It would probably be sensible to repair relations, so he can end the season in a cordial and professional manner but also keep open the possibility of a renewal, just in case FFP prohibits Barca re-signing him.
