I still rate Xavi and Iniesta WC higher as it was during a time when opponents were way thougher (until around 2019) + without tons of pens, Messi is good too considering he was 36 😬

Played way too deep, Maradona wanted him to be the playmaker who feeds the offense guys with passes but even for this role he was too deep and considering he was Messi he had to play near box.Wasted his talent, Pep knew how to get the best out of Messi
