pals, leave Maradona alone: he was like Messi at his peak plus the whimsical blows of Ronaldinho

Lil Tempt telling us to embrace the nerves (regarding a player with tens of big trophies and match winning performances at CL QFs, CL SFs, CL Final, and El Clasico levels and mostly recently through the WC QFs and SFs) while doing the Kumbaya for perennial loser "Big Virg" with his 1 CL and 1 PL

Not long ago, this goon was telling us Dybala wasn't starting for Argentina because Messi was afraid of losing the spotlight to him

The only notable thing Dybala has done in his career is score a couple of good goals against Jeremy Mathieu at LB or whatever that weird decision by Lucho was.

Ephedrine + out of shape opponents. Slow and probably hungover.

Lmao Messi couldn't win a single world cup in his prime but is about to win one while half retired.

Y'all don't believe me when I keep telling you this sport has become a meme.

Wonder what xi they're going to go with. 5 at the back to fit in Lisandro might be good defensively to shut down the right wing and allow Romero to focus more on Mbappe. At the same time the 4 in midfield vs croatia gave them a lot of options and more midfield control. There's talk of Di Maria being fully fit but I can't see how that would be a better option than to start the match with Messi and Alvarez in great form.

Maradona was truly something else when he wanted to play. Too bad he was out of form a lot or had to deal with personal life dramas:lol: But his peak is only rivaled by Messi imo. And Messi has the edge because of longevity. But speaking of him, he hasn't scored from a free kick in quite some time. Perhaps I am wrong, I don't follow him in Ligue 1 to be fair.

Scored a freekick for PSG this season. Interestingly enough, Argentina haven't had a a lot of freekicks close to box this WC if I recall.

I think we're gonna see the same lineup as we saw vs Croatia as I think the best spot to attack France is through the middle of the park.

RDP and Molina to try their best to stop Mbappe and Hernandez with Acuna and MacAllister to deal with Dembele and maybe Griezmann if he drifts over there.

Throw in Di Maria if Argentina is down a goal.

France's left side has defensively been exposed by multiple sides. They've managed to hold on so far, but wouldn't be a bad idea to attack from that side.
