PSG did try to get Tchouameni but he opted for Real Madrid but their recruitment has been poor. Likes of Vitinha, Soler, Ekitike etc are miles off it for that level.

No. It's just PSG as a whole isn't great. Galtier isn't that good of a manager either. Put Messi in a team like Man City.... and he'd suit their team more.

Recipe for success with this version of Messi is work hard in midfield to win the ball back as quickly as possible, give it to him again as quick as possible so he can take advantage of the transition in play.
