Yes they would, if Lewa and Messi were 5 years younger. Messi will be 36 and Lewa 35 in summer. We wouldn't do shit in Europe. You simply can't have an attack consisting of two players who combined have more than 70y. There is no way we would be a serious contender for CL next season. We would probably get out of the group stage and we may even reach the 1/4. However, any strong and compact team would easily defend against those two. In addition to that our team would probably be horribly imbalanced in defense with only 8 players behind the ball. We need to learn from ours and someone else's mistakes and not repeat them.
