True new coach is needed.

The last time ronaldo scored a goal for club when his team was leading was in march though.... :( (dont know if its true, read it on facebook).

Imo he played quite good against germany at euro :O

Edit: Checked it, its wrong, scored against sassuolu in may when they lead 1-0.

What I'm saying is that Messi fans used to post these kind of stats for years (since Barca began declining). And we were derided with "but he didn't beat Bayern/Pool etc" on his own and anything less than that is not acceptable. I'm just applying that absolutist criteria to CR7 now that he doesn't have an all time great team who can win CL SFs and CL finals (Bayern semis, Pool final, AM final) when he doesn't score or assist or whatever.

IMO, he's done mostly good for his age and the team around him. But I'm illustrating how stupid it is to hold absolutist criteria and avoid context.

Messi is going for the clean sheet record in farmers league

Cristiano has 12 goals in 17 appearances at a declined United playing in the hardest league in the world.

Stop looking for an excuse to shit on SIUUUUUUR7

CR7 has been better than Messi this season. But the argument was about the last 3-4 years. Relax, and learn how to read.

Dude are you for real?
IS it biased to say that Euros is a much harder and difficult competition to win compared to Copa America?
Copa America has only Brazil as certified contender every time, and then you have to look if Argentina or Uruguay are good enough to compete, and that's it...
The other NTs are many levels below, you have only an exception every 15-20 years like Chile in 2014-2016, and that's it.
The level of competition is laughable

In the Euros you have probably the best 3-4 NTs each time, and another 4-5 ready to compete.
Day and night compared to Copa.

I don't even go into your insinuation about UCL, as it's laughable to even say that the top club competition can be compared to any NT competition

Textbook bias is to say Copa America is a trophy comparable to Euro or World Cup or UCL

Chatting with Messi fanboys here is seeing how the world looks upside down (within their mind)

im glad im not the only one here with some perspective. the barca-messi bubble bias here is too thick for most

We watch EPL primarily; and there was Euro this year; probably people couldn't care less about the German league - I don't find the voting very off given these circumstances

Exactly. I mean even today there's on telly Dortmund vs Bayern, but I ain't watching it. Dortmund always chokes. It's so fucking boring. The league is terrible.

And that's supposed to be the most exciting match.

I think last season Dortmund went up 2-0 and I started watching and they still choked it and lost 5-2 or something. It's a joke. Huge joke.

The league is so absurdly dominated by Bayern that it makes it unwatchable.

And of course, it comes down to politics, Bayern using other German clubs as a feeder clubs.

Hate it. They fail potentially a good league by having zero competition!!

I actually think it could be very good league but these other teams need to stop selling to Bayern and grow some fucking balls. They kill the league.

Positive:

I think Germany league is very entertaining. They play good football in terms of fun, but as long as there's one team who can win, it's not worth watching.

Same problem with French league. I mostly watch when PSG struggles. More exciting. Leagues need to understand people watch games when they matter..

I agree mostly with you KL but i think Ronaldo is still able to make an impact against big teams in cl, lets see this season :boss:

I'm posting this video just because of the first goal in it (vs. PSG), but it goes well with the recent BdO discussions. Brlliant goal! Absolutely posterized Keylor Navas!

Messi against psg was like ronaldo against bayern 2012, both scored the goals but both missed a pen so at the end both had also a fault for loosing the tie.
