Then stop taking for granted what the other clown says.

It wasn't.

Spain had 2 EL winners and 1 semifinalist in CL
Germany had 1 CL winner and another team that reached the semis the same year - and that was the CL light with 1 KO round and after the restart

So basically there is Bayern and that's it. Rest of the teams don't play for anything domestically and usually are passengers in Europe.

Despite beating barcelona, Munich get hoed by Madrid repeatedly.

Actually in proper CL KOs, we're still 2 to 1 against them in the modern era (09, 15 for us, 13 for them).

They just beat the dead horse that is post 2019 Barcelona in that sham of a CL KO in Lisbon and now in group stages.

But everything was going to suddenly turn better once Valverde was fired? Looks like things got worse, despite getting rid of the "cancer".

very convenient not to count '20 dont you think? kind of dishonest. our 'proper' CL KL in 2009 is just as likely to be dismissed by bayern fans trying to make the opposite case. obviously you wouldnt agree to that, so you cant be so selective.

proper as in 2 legged ties man. 2020 is the only year where it was a 1 legged tie. That's not me being subjective or selective, that is just how the format was that year due to COVID. By sheer concept of probability, it is easier to win a 1 legged tie than a 2 legged tie, which is why people sometimes say "anything can happen in a final". Bayern were superior to other teams that season BUT they also had an easier route because of the one legged ties. Both can be true.

It's not a coincide to me that the CL semi-finalists that season included Lyon and Leipzig, who would have 0 chance of making it that far under the usual route.

Also, we must remember we are Barcelona fans at the end of the day. And act as such. Bayern fans view things favorably for Bayern. That's their job.

Maybe they were speaking from the POV of Madrid fans when saying those things. His departure has certainly been good news for you guys.

True, he doesn't even have to show up for PSG next year, a world cup final will be enough.

He reached a final in 2014 while scoring over 50 goals and he didn’t win it.

Unless his form improves significantly for PSG, he needs to win the WC to get it next year.

He doesn't have any competition next year, as long as France doesn't make it.

His competition isn't prime Ronaldo.

If he wins CL with PSG, he is 80% there (would be 100% if not world cup year). That plus Argies in SF is a Ballon D'Or locked up.

I personally don't see it happening but stranger things have happened.
