Don't know why y'all talk about winning the World Cup. If he doesn't score 40 goals in the Bundesliga, with Bayern, he's a nobody.

His competition isn't prime Ronaldo.

If he wins CL with PSG, he is 80% there (would be 100% if not world cup year). That plus Argies in SF is a Ballon D'Or locked up.

I personally don't see it happening but stranger things have happened.

Voters fatigue can land Mpabbe the award if PSG wins CL and he shows up

Dude are you for real?
IS it biased to say that Euros is a much harder and difficult competition to win compared to Copa America?
Copa America has only Brazil as certified contender every time, and then you have to look if Argentina or Uruguay are good enough to compete, and that's it...
The other NTs are many levels below, you have only an exception every 15-20 years like Chile in 2014-2016, and that's it.
The level of competition is laughable

In the Euros you have probably the best 3-4 NTs each time, and another 4-5 ready to compete.
Day and night compared to Copa.

I don't even go into your insinuation about UCL, as it's laughable to even say that the top club competition can be compared to any NT competition

Textbook bias is to say Copa America is a trophy comparable to Euro or World Cup or UCL

Chatting with Messi fanboys here is seeing how the world looks upside down (within their mind)

Basically everything you said is your subjective opinion and then you have the audacity to think you can lecture other posters on being subjective. Laughable.

You're some piece of work.

How many times should we discuss in this forum that the comparative strength of every league is not deciding by adding the points of all of their teams in Europe and making a ranking??
Really, how many times??

Its the only objective measurement so its the best way to compare leagues.

voting split for continent, Messi was so lucky that they changed format, with old one he wouldn't win 3 of his 7 ballon d'or

A World cup win from Messi or Ronaldo is a guarantee for ballon dor. A cl win also except one of their teamplayers wins world cup.

CR7's absolute priority this season shouldn't be trying to win a trophy with Man Utd since they stand almost no chance to do that. It should be to qualify for the WC as going out would or at least should be a big stain on his legacy even with that dinosaur of a manager they have there.

Aren't you aware how this works?

CR7's failures are chalked up to bad teammates and bad situations. Because he has done absolutely nothing of note in big games in Europe (CL or Euro) since the AM comeback at Juventus. And before people @ me for CR7 doing good in group stages this season for United, Messi was also killing it in the group stages in the EV and following era (i.e. declining Barcelona) against tougher opposition (Juve for example). No one gave a shit back then and it was all about CL KOs.

CR7's Ballon D'Or window is closed IMO unless Portugal gets a new manager.

True new coach is needed.

The last time ronaldo scored a goal for club when his team was leading was in march though.... :( (dont know if its true, read it on facebook).

Imo he played quite good against germany at euro :O

Edit: Checked it, its wrong, scored against sassuolu in may when they lead 1-0.
