Ozil fell off the last few years of the decade, while Di Maria is still performing, he takes it on longevity, scored more clutch goals than Ozil too.

We were discussing peak form rather than longevity although Di Maria probably wouldn’t make top 20 of that either. My point is that ADM had maybe 2 months where he was world class in the 13-14 season and probably a top 5-10 player in the world. Apart from that brief period, he was around the edges of the top 20 at best for the rest of his career.

Dembele had a higher ceiling than that imo even if it doesn’t look like he’ll reach it.

Don't know why we talk about Dembele vs Di Maria in this thread, as there shouldn't be such a discussion in any thread.
Di Maria is a man born to play football. Clutch, top technique, fast, he had everything. Shame he played for real. Dembele was born to play FIFA. Don't know anything about "ceiling" or whatever. Actions speak for themselves.
