he has declined that's for sure, but i believe he's gonna sort out his playmaking role when neymar returns so he can push more forward in the games and play his 1-2s with Mbappe around the box rather than playing as a CDM as of right now

i think him missing the penalty only gave him the drive he needed, let's hope he plays with more motivation even for PSG (i know, it's hard to believe )

Says the guy who was defending Messi all season claiming that Poch is a bum, their midfield is trash, and they have all these bum players, etc.?

Is that true or are they as good as City, Liverpool, Bayern, and Chelsea?

That's true, that's what even PSG fans think about and their midfield.
But, PSG showed an amazing performance against Real kind of surprisingly. It was either PSG suddenly improved a lot or Real had a terrible day. We will know for sure in the coming weeks.

he's been missing important penalties for a while. i dont think it 'motivates' him. if anything, he seems to have some kind of mental block about it.

yeah, i wasn't really talking about his penalties, we all know he's never really been great at them, but about his overall performances as of late

Tebas (LaLiga president): "Ferran Reverter was Florentino's man at Barcelona. He's the reason they did not accept the CVC deal and the reason they lost Messi"

I just checked Messi career PK conversion is only 77.3%, Ronaldo 83.1%, Mbappe 81%, Fernandes 91.3%.

If I were Poch I'd just let Messi and Mbappe decide on their own who's taking it in real time. Messi might've given it to Mbappe anyways.

Last time Mbapee was the one who missed the pen, in the same game Messi scored the first one. Messi, for all his great shooting and placement, doesn't have the best penalties on him and is always in doubt but that doesn't make Mbapee a better penalty taker.
I would have preferred he took it though, since he earned it.

if i were Poch id have mbappe take PKs and messi Fks. simple solution based on facts.

btw, messis problem is not just that his PK conversion rate is lower than that of other top players, but that his conversion rate in situations where PKs really matter (CL KOs, intl. final finals shootouts) is simply inexcusable given his stature as a footballer. he is the least dependable PK taker of all the GOAT-level players
