City, Liverpool, Bayern in that order. PSG/Madrid are equal, Chelsea close behind. Then you have the trash tier with United and Atleti.

Gotta say, would be incredibly interesting to see a tie between City and Bayern.

agree, i really wanna see that. over 2 legs, too, not in the final. more drama (from a neutral perspective i think) over 2 legs

 if city bottle it say, in the semis or final, pep will lose his mind. it would break him

It would be even funnier if he bottles it again in the final against another English team (Lpool or Chelsea). It would probably break him beyond repair.

the away goal rule being abolished favors the teams playing the return leg at home. for example real would play the possible ET and penalties at home, if they win 1-0 the return leg against PSG.

I would argue that the previous rule favored the team that played the return leg at home more. No matter how shit they played in the first leg, they had a real advantage for the return leg as long as they scored 1-2 away goals.

The thing is, no matter which rules you have, the team that plays the return leg at home is always in a better position.

As I keep saying, OG is a sensible poster when he's actually serious.

Regarding the discussion, I just don't trust City to string together 4 great KO performances over 4 rounds...despite them being in the top 3 teams in the world basically every year for the last 4-5 years.

Always said to you he is a good guy :p

Ya but at some point Pep has to win the cl and i feel it's this year #Pep

I doubt that Real will turn it around, they aren't playing well for some time now. However, I agree that out of those top teams PSG has the least chance of wining it.

Real peaked too early, two months ago they would have beaten PSG. But it's only 0-1 and without the away rule they have still a good chance to win the tie if Benz and Vini get back to their best and the midfield players play better.

the team which plays away in first leg will often park the bus now

exaclty. park the bus away(limit damage) and sort it out at home. even conceding at home won't matter all that much.

for example real can play for a 1-0 or 2-1 now and still have ET and pens at home.

with the away goal rule they would still have to chase a 2-1 game and ET/pens wouldn't have been possible anymore.

Bayern doesn't look that convincing lately, especially against better teams. PSG is a different gravy.

Apart from City who can control any team on their day, but might fuck it up in a one off game, the rest of those 4 contenders are pretty equal to me.

Don’t know if the Messi boys realize that hyping up PSG this much as a team just makes him look that much worse for his poor performances all season.
