Agreed, his legacy as the GOAT is secured already but I really hope he wins the world cup.

I still think his time at the club is over, as XaVi said we don't need superstars who don't press and work as a team.

If he was willing to accept a drastic pay cut he would have no doubt stayed and allowed for a gradual transition to the new generation but it wasn't to be we know how Jorge Messi is.

He probably needs to win the WC or at least star individually to be the clear GOAT. Otherwise, he'll just be one of the 3-4 players in the conversation which is fair.
