I don't think there's a coincidence that we're suddenly seeing an influx of new posters registering only to talk trash about Messi and spout vile shit about him and/or start random shit for no reason.

What a shame.

Wouldn't be tolerated on other team's forums to shit on club legends like this but this forum is so poorly moderated or left alone that everything is tolerated nowadays it seems.

Some 'real' fans in here saying Messi leaving won't hurt us much.

Messi leaves:
- we fail to win anything
- we get dumped out of CL groups
- we get dumped out of EL by Frankfurt at home
- we ending the season thinking if we're going to make top 4
- we got a worse sponsorship deal
- we play with half an empty stadium
- we are not a preferred destination for top players

But yeah, Messi leaving really unleashed this club

Three of the players that played tonight in Alba, Busquets and ter Stegen were always a much bigger problem than him. Our 2019 CL run proved as much.

It's just that it's easy for people and especially these non-Barca fans like Rassvet, Fati and newbies to put all of the blame on him.

Yup, we paid some bums to get results like the above instead. It was never about money with Laporta. Not in such a way that a deal couldn't be struck with Messi staying 2 more years and retiring here.

It was never the plan to keep him as we moved into a new era.

With a younger Messi Barca finished third.

Right for both of them to move on. Little has been lost without him and were getting shite results with him last season also as problems were there then and still there now.
