But I think having 2 teams already sets it apart from the other leagues you mentioned. It means to win it there is very small margin of error. Same can not be said for PSG Juventus and Bayern. It is kind of theirs to lose.

I agree it sets it apart from that aspect but on the other hand for the rest of us poor souls stuck in midtable it's a bore.

I don't dispute the PL has much more quality from 1-20 than those leagues, but the anyone can beat anyone is getting less true by the year.

One example of the way things are headed, Ferguson's highest points finish ever (91) would have only seen him win the league once since 2017. City and Liverpool are getting 90 points minimum every season now.

Yes I agree on those points.

Because city and liverpool, respectively have two best league managers in the world right now. But both are fuck ups when it matters in tight ko games. Ferguson would eat them alive in ko games regardless of pep's barca two time victories in cl final. Prime messi, xavi and iniesta is a cheat code and yet if pep kept his calm he should have been on 4 cl in a row. That team, players were unbelievable. Goat coach would close that chelsea semifinal 2012 tie easily, instead he got plumbed by interim coach di matteo who is, where now?

Would be wonderful if he'd return for one last season and play max once per week.

In current form he would be the best player in La Liga. And unlike Ligue 1, this is a far less physical league. In top form he would be top goalscorer/assister easy.

Don't know if he would be the same player, but it certainly wouldn't be about him hindering the team. Maybe the system would be harder to implement, as you either build your team around him or you are better off not playing him. There is no such thing as Messi playing second fiddle. He has to be involved to get the best out of him.

Why are people buying the hype already? They demolished farmers last season as well, didn't help them much in the only real competition they were in.

Remember when we said in here multiple times that they weren't convincing but still grinded wins? You had this idea that it doesn't matter and if results are there then everything else would play out for thenm.

As someone else mentioned, not all teams have Real's black magic luck to stumble to consecutive CLs or an unlikely double of LL and CL.

Ferguson has 2 UCLs in his entirely career.

Pep and Klopp would destroy him in EPL and KO games, really.

It makes Barca an embarrassing team in transition. Fucking up in Europe isn't really a surprise when it comes to Barca these days.

Nah, they won many top teams to get their Europa cup last season, so they're definitely not farmers. Bayern was just too good.

I'd say half of what we've seen so far is Mbappe not playing and other half Poch not hindering him. But if he keeps this up when Mbappe's back then maybe Poch was mostly to blame.

Messi and Ney look faster and more motivated than last season, they will give everything this season to win the ucl. Don't overrate the goals against this farmer clubs though, the defending yesterday was worse than anything which i saw from a bundesliga club. Messi and Ney will score less when Mbappe is back again.
