Lovren = great buy
Lallana = great buy
Lambert = Hahahahahah

It would be foolish not to trust Rodgers evaluation about how he fits into his system. He's done very little to cause people to doubt him.

Borini
Allen
Assaidi
Sahin on loan and misusing him - also paying £5m, and his full wages (according to various newspapers)
Yesil
Alberto
Aspas
Cissokho
LLori

total spent = £60m

You could look at it like that, I guess. If you wanted to.

It was more of a way to show Rodgers does have that wrong transfer in him.... like all managers.

Borini - decent 3rd/4th choice striker.
Allen - actually done pretty well IMO.
Assaidi - never really been given a proper chance.
Sahin - at least it was just a loan.
Yesil - one for the future. massive potential. a proper natural goal scorer. let's see if/when he gets some first team action.
Alberto - has looked decent when given limited opportunities, can't really judge properly at the mo though.
Aspas - yeah terrible buy.
Cissokho - only a loan.
Llori - actually looks really impressive. one for the future. too early to judge.

Borini - still going, we'd recoup the 10m we spent anyday
Allen - don't even know what your point is here, allen is great
Assaidi - we're gonna make a profit on him..bought for 3.5m and we're asking stoke for 7m now
Sahin on loan and misusing him - also paying £5m, and his full wages (according to various newspapers) - fail
Yesil - just turned 20
Alberto - one for the future
Aspas - fail
Cissokho - his loan has been successful, offered the defending when we needed it
LLori - future

sahin and aspas are the only fails there and they we're good before joining liverpool so you can't blame brendan.

as for "Lambert = Hahahahahah" who can say no to a proven goalscorer for 4m + someone you can gurantee will try harder than anyone...its no marquee signing but its good for the team

I can see the logic in buying Lambert. Last year, when other teams dropped deep against Liverpool, they looked sorta clueless. Now, they have a plan B for a fair price against those teams.

If Rodgers spent £60m on them type of players again this summer, guaranteed no liverpool fan will be happy.

Moreno rejected Napoli offer as LFC were coming. Sevilla want more $$ (adds on) + alert other clubs. But as yet none offering more than LFC

Let Suso go FFS. He has Henderson, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge, Borini, Coutinho and probably two other new faces coming in.

He can't compete with that so it will be better to let him go permanently and develop his career elsewhere where he'll have more of a chance to play more games.

suso has got too much in his feet to let go...we'd feel like shit if he turns to a world beater, his development is a little slow right now but his only 20.

if we bring in lallana i wouldn't feel so bad about it.

i also think at this point we need to think about a gerrard replacment (turned 34 today), not so much a 'next gerrard' more of a next alonso to carry out what gerrard has tried to emulate in the last 6 months. parejo is abit different to that but he could work too.

strange signing is rickie lambert, he's not good enough for a top 4 team, if united or chelsea had signed him liverpool fans would be laughing and asking why...
