Bielsa is just a temp solution, and I would say a good one. He never managed a big team hence he didn't win titles but took those small teams he managed very far i.e Took Bilbao Europa League Final. With proper support from a big club like Barca I believe he can win us titles. Guardiola is a big admirer and actually went to Argentina in 2006 only to meet Bielsa for coaching and career advise.

Bielsa never managed a big team because he was never that big. I don't think his mentality exactly fit a big club either. His temper will not cope well with the constant pressure here at Barca. He's better with the underdogs. Getting teams like Athletic, Marseille and Chile, where no one expect you to win it all (if winning anything at all!) playing some beautiful football and people speak as he's the biggest damn thing out there!

are you fucking kidding me. Xavi, Iniesta, Rakitic, Rafinha, Roberto, Busi, Masch what more do you want in a midfield. You have the best controller in a well rested Xavi who still posts 11km a game. The Don in all his glory although he might be in a slump. The best tackler and destroyer DM in Masch. A good RM prospect in Rafinha. Roberto. A great box-to-box AM in Rakitic. And a great reader of the game in Busi although his hernia is hindering him ATM. Its more than enough for at least a functioning midfield in the hands of a competent coach unlike Lucho has portrayed himself to be thus far

Xavi is old, Iniesta is not himself. Rafinha and Roberto arent good enough. Raki gets lost against better teams and cant take Xavis place. Busi havent been himself the last 2 seasons.

You cant live on old merits, players dont stay world class forever.

If you want Barca to crash and burn then go for Bielsa. His explosive personality is not a good fit here.

Knowing how things work with this board, a short term solution will most likely be promoting Eusebio from the B team.

Lol @ Pep's comment.

He would annihilate this Barca team. It would be such a sad sight to see, probably unwatchable.

I don't comment on the question wether Lucho should be sacked or not. However, I believe that no manager is ''ideal'' at this moment. The current circumstances in the club are ridiculous. There is not one day without various articles in the Spanish press about the board, about our players or about Lucho.
Barcelona as a club is under fire, mainly because of our board and because of our performances.
People who want Klopp, Koeman, Bielsa or other coaches should know that they wouldn't get the time to implement their style. One bad game, one bad result and the press would be all over them, just like Pique. Is there a manager who would get results and play beautiful football from day one? Maybe Pep but I don't think that ANY other coach in this world would accomplish this.
The press AND the fans don't give the managers time enough. There is always something to complain which leads to more and more tensions. Add the current board, the Madrid press and various discussions about Messi, Alves, Pique etc and you have the mess which we call FC Barcelona at the moment.

It doesn't matter who we bring in. As long as the bullshit surrounds our club, we won't be on a good way. We always try to build something and destroy it because of mistakes the representatives of our club made.

Well, it would make it easier for Lucho if he dropped his stubborn ways and actually fixed his mistakes.

You know something is very wrong when some of the most creative players in the world have only 3 assist on November 9, im talking about Xavi, Rakitic, Iniesta, Buesquets.
Specifically Xavi and Raki who are our CM have the amazing number of 0 assists.

Of course anyone (except Lucho) who has watched a Barca game can see that our midfield in nonexistent, but when these stats come up you realize it even more.
