Iniesta and Rafinha have only assisted in the UCL and I imagine they added the non-assist from Rakitic to Munir.
Fair enough. Just thought it was strange how the stats were so different to what people were saying

Lucho requested Suarez. The one he didn't get was cuadrado, and he had to accept douglas instead. Not getting kroos in on him, yes. If he wanted kroos, he wouldn't had vetoed him. He asked zubi to push for koke, but when it was clear he wouldn't come, Lucho thought Rakitic, Rafinha, Iniesta, Roberto and Xavi were enough. Here we are, now.
They said they had negotiated with Suárez for months, way before Lucho arrived, and Suárez also basically confirmed this, but that's not important. Lucho pushed for Marquinhos and Cuadrado and Zubi's alternatives were Vermaelen and Douglas. They (Lucho?) pushed for Koke but we didn't get him, and we got no one instead. That's what we know and the rest is just hearsay.
I think it's fair to assume we rejected Kroos but no one knows who exactly did that; you're just blaming Lucho to strengthen your argument. Lucho accepted Suárez, Vermaelen and Douglas, so if they had told him they wanted to get Kroos, why should he have vetoed it? Not because he thought Kroos wasn't good enough, or he wouldn't have signed off on Douglas and Vermaelen, and I imagine he watched the WC too. Not because he thought we had enough midfielder, they/he clearly wanted another one or they wouldn't have pushed so hard for Koke. I reckon they didn't have any real alternatives left so he just had to settle for the existing midfielders.
I've watched a football debate yesterday and they showed videos of what Kroos does this season.

If it's true that he wanted to join Barca but the board rejected him, then fuck you.
Kroos is awesome.

Lucho didn't want Kroos because he didn't want a midfield, as we are witnessing it every game. He wanted Koke to be the other babysitter, Rakitic for Alves, Koke for Alba.
.
Do you think that Kroos can do better than Rakitic in the same Role, i seriously doubt it, Rakitic hasn't produced the 1/10 of what he has shown in Sevilla, lucho's tactics are to blame not the players.
Crazy, especially since he was kind of cheap. He is. The source for Kroos offering himself to barça is his agent, and Cruyff.
Crazy, especially since he was kind of cheap.
I'm very disappointed right now
Disappointed that barca didn't sign Kroos ofcOnly right now? You saved yourself a couple of years of disappointments then....
So you think that if Lucho wanted Kroos, zubi/the board would still not get him? Even though he wasn't that expensive? Really? I'm not doing it to strenght my argument, it's just common sense. Lucho is the coach. He has to have the final word on those matters, or he's just another puppet.
He had the final word on that, why he wouldn't have on Kroos?
Bartomeu himself said Lucho told him to get Suarez, even with the ban, that he was a fundamental part of Lucho's plan.

There is a big difference between rejecting Kroos and not actively pushing for him. Yes, he has the final word, but that doesn't mean that he rejected Kroos. Lucho wanted and pushed for Koke as he knew him from La Liga, just like Rakitic. When that transfer didn't materialise, Zubi could have suggested Kroos as an alternative. If he had, there is no way in hell Lucho would have rejected him. What you're essentially blaming Lucho for is not explicitly requesting Kroos. As I've said, the coach is not omnipotent; he can't know every player and he can hardly push for someone he hasn't watched a lot. There are a few players that Lucho wanted and our board should have had viable alternatives in case one of those transfers wouldn't happen, but they didn't. You could blame Lucho if he had rejected Kroos, but not if he didn't push for him. It's not his job to know every player in and out, but Zubi's.
Can you give me a quote for that? I'm almost 100% sure they said they were already in negotiations last year, and Lucho said they suggested signing Suárez to him and he accepted that suggestion.
That's ludicrous and that "babysitting" argument, for me, is just an excuse for bad positional play by the midfielders. If Lucho's game plan was based on midfielders "babysitting" full backs then why did he play Iniesta-Xavi against RM?
