If half the rumors are true, there is some serious drama going on now. I know this is about alot of things accumulating over time, but i still think its crazy to have a meltdown when the club is a few points behind the league leader, through in both cups, things are not that great, but damn its not that bad either.

Have you seen how we're playing this season? What he is doing with his crazy rotations? The many reports of lack of communication between him and the players since the start of the reason? That's recipe for disaster.

The reason we've not been further behind is because we simply got some awesome players who will most of the times lead us through individual brilliance, but against tougher opposition it'll suddenly say STOP...

You never know what happens in football, at least not in the cups, which you are still in. Being drama queens now certainly wont help,at least we waited til the league was done and dusted, in 2013.

I find it funny that some, even in the slightest way, try to defend Lucho. Like his tenure as the coach by any means did any good to Barca so far.

And this Morten guy keep reminding us that just because Barca is not 6th or something with some of the best players in the world we should all be cheerful or something. Real Madrid hasn't been above Barca for so long that now it looks to him as the ultimate achievement of all time. So we should all be content that we are only a few points behind the Almighty Madrid!

Well...Hellalujah!

LMAO Great post.
Real Madrid fans defend Luis Enrique because they know as much as we do that he's a pathetic manager and he simply doesn't have the shoulders to handle our team.

I don't believe the reports about him being fired soon though. There's literally no coach available at the moment.

They are that bad. Have you not watched any of the games? Lucho doesn't have a clue tactically. Any games that have been won have been due to individual performances from Messi and Neymar. It's January and he doesn't even have a midfield that operates.

Like PSG at home?

Yes, we haven't been great. But could it have something to do with the fact that finally someone is trying to bring in new ideas and shake up things that are leftovers from the Pep era? Might it have something to do with the fact that we have a new coaching staff? You know Ancelotti's Real were pretty bad the first half of last season, and were behind us in the league by more points...

Just to be clear, I'm not saying he's been amazing. No, and it's to be seen if he can achieve anything with us. But sacking him now would be really really stupid. Not least because some stability is needed.

What about the PSG match? PSG were so wasteful in that match. So his 'new ideas' weren't exactly brilliant. Do't let the result flatter you.

And don't tell me you're seriously comparing Lucho to Ancelotti!

We were clearly better than them in that game.

They're different managers. The point is that it is very rare that a coach comes in and everything is fine immediately. Usually there is a period of adjustment (hell, Mourinho lost to us 5-0 on his first try). You need at least a season, usually two.

PSG is not exactly setting the world on fire this season and yet they had enough chances in both matches against Barca to score more than they already did. They're not even first in Ligue 1 which many regards as one horse race.

The point is, the first one who doesn't let something to adjust is Lucho himself. He keep changing the line-up week in week out. Not fans nor the players know what he's doing exactly. How can one expect something to be built in this chaos??

That game is the perfect example of the club winning despite of Lucho's not because of them. Even Laurent Blanc called out Lucho's tactics after the game saying that the weird formation confused the Barca players more than his own and then gave credit to Messi and Suarez for being amazing players.

It is not to be seen if we can win anything with Lucho's tactics, I'm almost for certain nothing will be won with him. Anybody competent can come in and do a better job. It can't get any worse from a morale point.

Lucho has had a few things work but then he fails to build on them.

His ego is much too out of control. He doesn't understand how to work with big egos at a club this size like Pep did. Tito was 10x the coach he is.
