Don't worry too much. Injury problems are just a matter of luck. I think I've seen a much thinner squad during one of Ronaldinho's seasons. And Messi-Villa-Pedro almost played the entire season in 2010-2011.

Injuries aside which no one can predict how it goes throughout the season, the squad lacks depth and quality in certain positions. I am not much worried about the quality upfront but in the back it's very worrying. We cannot lose the control of the matches like we did last night. We cannot linger on the fact that "some" thin squads had no problem during the season. It's a risk the club should not take if they don't want a repeat of Tata's season which we lost several key players for a good amount of time due to injuries.

Agree, the best 11 is out of this world but as soon as we change it, if it's against a top team we become weird.

Enrique probably didn't want to risk playing Pedro in the case he gets injured and any potential transfer stalls because of that. He only introduced him when he had no other choice, kinda in a do or die situation.

That's the hardest part of winning a double or treble, the 3 super cup games can lead to injuries then the Club World Cup is in far off lands and can lead to even bigger injuries. Fingers crossed the Alba and Ney are the only two minor injuries for a bit.
