Don't see where you get the idea that Barça got lazy after 1 goal.

"Losing the lead", it's a one goal lead! And the only reason we were ahead was because of a corner, not because we were chasing after it.

We played poorly, and that was happening with Rakitic and without him. Arda's subsitution had nothing to do with it.

I agree. We were too complacent and RM wanted it more.

Arda is best fitted for iniesta's position and may never adapt to Rakitic's but that only added to our preexisting poor showing

The one thing I hate about our team is our complacency. There are times when they just expect other teams to roll over and die.

It's Lucho's job to see that doesn't happen.

This could be a very bad week if the team doesn't wake up from its slumber.

We haven't been playing well for some time now.

It's Lucho's job to see that doesn't happen.

That happens from time to time, it did under Pep, under Lucho and will happen again. The key is for it to happen when it doesn't affect us as much. For example, it must never happen in a tough CL tie.

MSN too narrow, forcing the ball forward after a turnover, not utilizing the fullbacks, subbing Arda instead of Roberto, no Aleix on the bench(?), all Lucho's mistakes.
But all will be forgiven if we get a good result against Atletico, it was really an impossible situation for Lucho, but he made the right choice telling the team to not go all out against Real.

If Lucho told them not to go all out then that is a disgrace.

In that situation it would be better to have back up players giving everything.

The last league game of the season is when Barca would have a week's rest for the second time since the winter break:

CL QF - Atleti (5th April)
Lliga - Sociedad (9th April)
CL QF - Atleti (13th Apr)
Lliga - Valencia (17th April)
Lliga - Deportivo (20th April)
Lliga - Gijon (23rd April)
CL SF - TBD (26th/27th April)
Lliga - Betis (1st May)
CL SF - TBD (3rd/4th May)
Lliga - Espanyol (8th May)
Lliga - Granada (15th May) - last league game of the season
CDR final - Sevilla (22nd May)
CL Final - TBD (28th May)

This might just have been the most brutal season I've ever seen for any team in football. Barely any winter break (only 9 days), followed by a game every 3 days for 4.5 straight months (with one exception). It would be a miracle if Barca retained the CL imo.

I don't remember how the 11/12 season went but it must have been similar.

That's why if the they manage to win a domestic double it'll be a huge feat, even without CL. That useless CWC should just end.

There is no need for any player to be playing all those games.

The Barca squad can cope and win the league from here with heavy rotation.

That includes resting the likes of Messi, Neymar and Suarez

Not calling for his head, but he certainly did fuck this one up. He's shown the ability to learn from his mistakes though so hopefully he doesn't fuck up Tuesday's game like he did this one.

if he fucks again, and lose against atletico, and win la liga, i dont see much problem, he won everything at his first season, barca is in good position in la liga and copa del rey, considering he is still beginner, barca have bright future with lucho, of course if he is willing to stay for a longer period, not 4 seasons, like pep.
