There is no need to look on the market, I think that Denis and Sergi Roberto would perform better in midfield than Gomes and Rakitic right now.

What do you guys think about Maurizio Sarri? Not that familiar with how Napoli are playing but hearing his name mentioned as a potential candidate for next season.

To have a midfield friendly set up, he needs to have a midfield that is good enough.
Messi, Neymar and iniesta are our only creative players. It would be ludicrous to take the creative responsibility from them and place it on midfielders who cant create a chance even if their life depended on it.
It's like,you have Abidal and Alves and you make Abidal the attacking fullback and Alves the defensive one.
It is not ideal.

I like Lucho a lot and really appreciate what he has done for us but a humiliation in the Clasico would be the breaking point for me.

The Clasico is a must win. Lucho is among the best paid coaches in the World too and has a lot of quality at his disposal. There's no excuses. If he can't sort it out after all this then it'll truly show how limited he is tactically.
The players can be 110% motivated, but if they play in a tactically doomed setup then there's a limit for how much their motivation and desire can do.
Actually, even if we draw by playing great, it'd be an improvement.

I didn't say to play them both until the end of the season, it's given that we won't win anything if Iniesta is not playing. And Sergi Roberto performed way better in midfield than Gomes right now, I think it's a shame that Lucho decided to trust Aleix Vidal and shift Roberto to RB while buying Gomes for 30M.

I just think that him eliminating Aleix Vidal itself is a disaster, he limits the formation to one right back who is Sergi Roberto and he honestly does not show up against even mid-table teams in the RB position along with having Rakitic limited to supporting Sergi on the flank and defending overally which is highly affecting our midfield and formation in general, I think that Luis Enrique and Robert (the director manager) are the ones to blame for our decline.
I think you are overestimating Lucho's options re. tactics.
Messi basically has a free role and hardly helps at the back.
Midfield is set up the way it is to support MSN and because there is no more Xavi and Iniesta is close to veteran years.
We can try to play from midfield more and have them more closer together but I doubt how much this would work with these midfielders.
The point is Gas that it doesn't matter who you play when the players remain as isolated as they have. 3 mids can't possibly cover the whole midfield or interplay when they have half of a field to cover due to the absolutely ridiculous tactic lucho is playing.
