This is going to be a huge problem this season.

Yes he scores goals, but he's literally a black hole out there. Yes we would miss his goals against La Liga teams if he's benched, BUT you could argue removing him makes us play way more dynamic, with better movement and more fluid style of football thus creating more chances or quality chances putting the other team under more pressure.

Absolutely. I think we have to start thinking time after Suarez. He is just killing the game too often now.. As long as he would finish his chances it would be okay, but he is not even doing that.

This forum has not changed a bit (not that i would expect it to happen anyways), massive dejavu from last season. All we need now is people going to Rakitic thread and start trashing him as well and go to Everton forum and trash Gomes, who does not even play and we have succeeded in timetravel.

Oh, I am sorry.

Suarez is the best striker in the World and has been outstanding for the last year and half.

I guess that's what you wanted to hear? Should keep you happy until you find something else to take the contrarian position on and bitch about.

You genuinely think Suarez is good enough still to be a guarenteed starter?

Maybe if EV had balls he would bench Suarez for a few matches so that Suarez gets a hint and starts focusing more on his game/fitness/diet or whatever.

Barca has quite a few attacking options to choose from for the front line so it's not like EV is scrapping the bottom of the barrel here either.

Deja vu or not it is what it is and sadly Suarez starts every season in bad shape, year after year, only to regain some form by January which would prove enough for any manager to stick with him for the rest of the season. If thinks keep on going like this Valverde might experiment with a Coutinho - Messi - Dembele lineup.

He looks so slow. He just doesn't have the legs anymore and that first touch is awful.

The striker market is a barren wasteland these days too so it's not like we can just kick him out and easily find a new 9.

True. No one we would want is available. Only Cavani and Lewandowski but those guys are old as well.

Icardi is not option, because of his history.

He looks and moves like a 40y old player.

Tough to get a striker unless you take a risk on someone like Werner or Icardi, who according to the people in charge and this forum's logic shouldn't be brought back anyway as he was in La Masia and left.

What we really need is a high volume goalscoring winger though if Messi is to play in the middle all the time.
