Important to remember that Suarez can be key to the team's success without scoring since his workrate, associative play & decision making can be incredible. Unfortunately, he has been in poor form - last night just about every decision he made was the wrong one so you have to wonder how much of this is a mental

Perhaps rotation will be a good thing, take some of the pressure off since it's what most people, pundits etc are talking about atm.

i hate to shit on him,he's one of my all time favourite players,but he is in such horrible form that it's incredible he still gets full 90 mins,valverde is a joke,only makes the thing worse playing him all the time because i can't remember the last barca player who got this much hatred from his own fans. i still hope he can bounce back but it doesn't seem it will happen soon

I think it'll be his last season here, even the camp nou crowd was getting frustrated with him last week. If we had someone with a big character in charge like Pep,Klopp etc he would be riding the bench now.

So sick of this now. As if Valverde's turgid football isn't already bad enough, we're stuck with this fat goon up front for 90 mins each week, failing to control a simple ball, stepping over the ball randomly even though he's the only person up front, falling over all the time, and when none of that works, shock horror, having a hissy fit. At least TRY something else Valverde ffs. If this isn't Suarez's last season (hopefully Valverde too) I actually think I'm gonna cry I'm so frustrated. :lol:

Yes. But right now I would risk Messis anger/losing the lockerroom for more fluid play, because he doesn't have a neutral impact on the team anymore, it has gone to be a negative impact due to all the offside-runs and destruction of build-up. At the very least we should try to play an alternative, so we doesn't rely on him getting better like last season - because we cannot be certain he regains that form.

An angry Messi, even though he is the captain, is a risk we need to take.
