Luis Suárez

Griezmann was mostly played out of position. What did you expect from him? Suarez made this team a handicap because in most games we are like playing with 10 men. It's not about goal scoring only, it's how the whole team function, something you need to learn about football.

griezmann is not a CF. while suarez was injured he played there and was shit. what makes you think he'll be good there?

scoring is the primary job for a striker. sure, in modern football you want to have other attributes too, but griezmann never really balanced his other attributes with his scoring. while playing here he was mostly shit at everything. did we pay all that money for a donkey that runs around and goes invisible in important games? is this the new norm?

that's why i'm saying we should buy another striker if suarez leaves.

If they sell Suarez and Messi decides to leave as well, the club would be lucky to make top 4 with Griezmann and D?mb?le leading the line. lmao

dembele leading the line :lol: he'll be spared the embarrassment by being injured all the time.

Should we close down the club then or keep playing the amigos for perpetuity?

Everyone knows the next crop isn't as talented as the amigos were in their heyday. Congratulations if that was your point.

He can gtfo. Not a Barca legend for me. No exemplary attitude, toxic and entitled behavior instead. Thank you for 14/15 and 15/16 Luis.

Cant wait till this toxic fuck is gone.

Good two first seasons but holy crap his level dropped. Yeah yeah he scored in liga, but him frequently fucking up interplay and attacks and failing to show up in the CL are enough to say good riddance.

No problem. I'll stick around.

Of course, football is secondary, Barcaforum is your social life.

Heyday? What are you talking about? The actual problem is that all the senior players are still the best options in their respective positions, except Busquets who has De Jong as a natural replacement.

Alba -> Firpo
Pique -> Umtiti
Suarez-> Griezmann
Messi -> whoever

is not improving the squad. Nor does that club have any finances, let alone scouting capabilities to get promising replacements in right now.

Imagine that "rebuild" when you replace Suarez with a bang average Lautaro (another Coutinho, Griezmann class signing) and then play him together with Messi and Griezmann who all share the same positions. I suppose people will be happy though because "derp da herp amigos, Barto showed 'em".

What should happen is that Bartomeu does not touch this club any more. Anything he does now is damage limition and blame deflection onto merited players, when he was the one responsible for wasting half a billion or more with unmoveable, pointless players on huge wages, which forced coaches to keep playing the older players as they were still the better options, who in return are scapegoated now. Like Suarez should have come up to the coaches and said: "Ey yo, I'm staying on the bench today, go on with amazing Braithwaite and Griezmann." And because he didn't, Barca suck now.

lmao

make no mistake,it is time to go but it's sad that it had to come to this situation where people are pretty much disregarding everything he gave to us and are ecstatic to see him kicked out of the club

Won't beleive it till it actually happens. One of the players who genuinely had to go, not surprised that it had to come to this but airing this in public is just fucking stupid. Would of been Better to just announce whne it happens.

Luis Suarez is very upset after talking to Ronald Koeman. Koeman's call lasted less than a minute and Su?rez believes he deserves a better farewell as per Manuel Oliveros

@COPE

Luis Su?rez considers that they are not the appropriate ways to treat a footballer who has given everything for the club as per Manuel Oliveros
@partidazocope

Last less than a minute? damn cold blooded.

Koeman must have timed that call to be mimic the amount of time Suarez is useful over a 90 minute game.

Whew!
