Well you're just going to be over the moon next year when Barca have no European Football.

Better than getting trashed 8-2 and 4 and 5 and
Every fucking team want to play us cause we suck
And our players are pussies, but we will make
Top 4, i c progress just need to convert our chances
And our players to shoot more. Much better than
The last 3 season.

And Barca would have won two Champions League trophies in the past three years if they had a defence half as good as Atletico's.

Not 2. But one for sure. EV gameplan in 2017-18 was similar to Atletico style under Simeone, no wonder Simeone actually praised EV that season after he was 1-0ed .

Except EV had 2 players with poor work-rate and weak defensive discipline, not just one (Messi - Suarez combo), and worse defense (well, these two are kind of connected). Plus too many weak characters who get scared under pressure and start to cry, put their heads down, get desperate, and panicked.

This is really funny the arguement is fucking stupid, we had fucking suarez and messi last year and the year before and the year before, what was our fucking situation we where the best team in the world hhhhh what the fuck we lost the fucking league after he came back from injury to play with us, we where the first before he came back and lost the league when he came back, we got humilated in CL for 4 years with him not scoring a single fucking away goal all these years, and still some of you wanted him to stay. Oh ya might as well keep rekatic abd vidald and rinse and repeat hhhhh, Atletico
Defence is the one winning for them not fucking 1 goal scored. And we actually have more goals than them, this season is not so good but the best thing that happend for barca is we got rid of this fucking donkey.
I am much more happy watching barca this season than the last 3 season with this donkey Suarez.

He scored vs Bayern btw.

Suarez 8 goals this season and Atletico is at the top of table.

Barca 6th.

It all because of Suarez, sure.

Laliga winner > finish in top 4. No matter what your view is, it is the absolute truth.

We'd probably be better in terms of points, but without winning the league due to the poor defense. So, in the broader spectrum, it's the same shit. The only major difference would be if, god forbid, we manage the feat to end up outside of the top 4.

Anyway, it's inevitable at this point. OK, so you maybe keep both Suarez and Messi for one more season and you make more points and end up 2nd instead of 4th (something similar to last season only a bit worse). It doesn't matter at this point. It's just wasting more time.

The team is not good enough anymore for winning big titles. And not bad enough to finish outside top 4. This is with Suarez or without him.

I agree Suarez with Messi made Barca slower and more predictable. Far away from winning international titles and it was a long needed change.

But we end up playing Martin Braithwaite.

Losing defensive stability would be an issue, but it's a matter of compromise. Think you'd get more than you'd lose. In the league at least.

It's pure speculation tbf. Whether we'd be challenging for the title or not. It's not like we're playing against Bayern and Liverpool.

Wasn't against the move to Juve myself, but in the hindsight, might've been better to offload him in the summer.

This finished version of Suarez has competitors struggling to keep up in scoring and has Barca fans questioning themselves.

Lmao

He will win the league.

Simeone will only name him fitter and fitter. While beasts like the white yaya toure llorente cover the pitch perfectly.

Even last year in the league Barca won more points when Suarez was not starting and that was with him getting goals/assists.

Too slow, predictable and too much about while covering for two older players that can move off ball enough.

Tactics/training everything was impacted by it.

Needed to move away from that and try to move team to direction of giving young players a better chance to come through as next Barca side even if painful while being done.

If he wins title good on him and Simeone but it will be about a lot more than about just him making difference.

The mistake wasn’t getting rid of him, the mistake was getting rid of him without having a proper replaced lined up. Griezmann has never been prolific and Martin Braithwaite is Martin Braithwaite.

Well, actually it IS about him making a difference right now.
Simeone isn't stupid. He knew he needed a proven goalscorer and not the Morata and Costa donkeys he had last year.

They've finally recovered after Godin and Juanfran left, defense is now solid. Also added some interesting options in midfield. Felix is beginning to mature and needed a true striker to work the defenders in front of him. Only constant goals against the shittiest opposition were lacking.

Suarez is the first proven goalscorer they brought in after Falcao left. Griezmann, Morata and Costa didn't have that killer instinct.

The mistake wasn’t getting rid of him, the mistake was getting rid of him without having a proper replaced lined up. Griezmann has never been prolific and Martin Braithwaite is Martin Braithwaite.

Exactly. But looking back at what happened, we might just as well never have bought Braithwaite and kept Suarez for another season.
