Barca never had the level of AM defenses, it was our mid and attack who carried us through the years.

the idea is that we never had the best defense or GK. sure, there were some fine exceptions, but other than that it was all about that midfield and attack.

No, we got rid of a chunk of the right players. The other chunk we need to clear is alive and kicking. Still stinking up the place. We simply need to send another batch of 3-4 lazy veterans packing or sit them cozy on the bench.

At this point, I don't even care if we go 2-3 years trophyless. Clear the veterans who are sucking the easiest money they ever made out of this club. Where is the return of investment? Highest-paid squad and they are total bums the lot of them.

These veterans are earning a lot more right now, as finished players, than they were when they were running their socks off on the field under Pep being kings of Europe. Unacceptable how it got to this. Charity club if I ever saw one.
