Understandable that he sucks with his right as he is a leftie.

Then again his left is worse than Dembele's left.

WTF

Considering that Dembele is extremely good with his "weak" foot that isn't surprising, i mean there is even this famous interview where Dembouz isnt sure which one is his stronger lol

There are a lot of players, especially left footed ones, that are bad with their weak foot. Most prominent example would be Robben.

So most people on here would prefer older players after all.

Fine if you wanna bitch about a player with extremely scarce and sporadic minutes not meeting your expected level in every appearance, but don't advocate the need for younger players in our squad at the next turn, because that shit don't cohere.

I thought he was faster than he is. Maybe I’m just comparing him to Dembele which clearly isn’t fair.

Yeah I thought we would be more quick explosive with the hype, like Dembele or Sterling, Sane or Mpabbe. I know I had high expectations but he was supposed to be our biggest signing last summer so was expecting some special attributes that would distinguish himself from Rafinha and Denis just by him moving on the pitch.

Not saying give up on him but clear he is going to have to have great skills and footballing mind to be a great player, and that will take time, not going to be a phenom athlete with good footballing skills and makes an impact that way. Would mind him starting tomorrow and seeing how the 1st half goes.

If the younger players are better or at least equal to older players they play. Just look at Dembele, Lenglet and Arthur's minutes.

He's a support forward with great off the ball movement and clinical finishing like he showed in the biggest matches in France. I havent seen much hype about him and it doesnt make sense that just because a player is young, he should be explosive like Mbappe. He was signed out of nowhere with no warning as some type of Messi backup even though Messi plays all the time. "biggest signing" seems like a big exaggeration.

He hasn't given up yet, so we should give him more time than 1/2 season to prove himself, really.

Saying that he is half as good as Denis is laughable, tbh. Malcom still hasn't had the trust needed to prove himself, it is not like he was bought to kick Dembele or Coutinho out of the starting-11. He was bought to be a sub, and he can still prove to be useful for us, imo. It is very premature to judge him before at least this summer.

Good post.
He had some B team startings and when A team was fiedled he was a sub. That can't be the merit after half a season.

His fee was bigger than arthur, lenglet or vidal's and his wages are higher than all but the experienced vet vidal. Then you factor he was the one player another fairly big club was distraught we came in late for before they closed the deal--so yeah was the most buzz producing signing last summer.

Of course we need patience, but i'd also take a 45-50 mil offer in july if it came. Just have to wait and see.

EV should start him next match considering Coutingo form. Noting to loss here.

I would start him next league match. But against sevilla i want the strongest team and coutinho is connecting with teammates even if not scoring. Until dembele os back he is the 3rd forward. Give malcom some league starts though.
