Not oficially. But high wages usually mean higher clause. You pay me more, you get more if they take me.

Well the clause especially for a player his age is still pretty high and he's not exactly a Neymar level talent.

However him not being a Neymar level talent doesn't mean he can't be World Class potential in the future, if he ends up being the real deal for us we will eventually give him a new contract extension with a higher clause.

180 is much better than the joke 60 million clause we had on Umtiti or the 40 on Roberto.

Too soon for that I think. I'm giving him the entirety of next season just as an adaptation period. I expect him to be a squad player that will gradually earn more and more minutes as the season progresses and as he gets more accustomed/comfortable to our system.

So not only that this boy is a natural talent and a dominant alpha winner, but he's also smart. Before he came, everyone thought defensive contribution was his weakness. Now, he comes and throws this in Valverde's face. I'm predicting it now: he's gonna be a starter this season.
