weird to see so many xavi's and iniesta's when they were so bad.

Valdes, for not letting us lose 6-0.
Bartra, for taking the only 2 shots, and not looking considerably worse than everyone else even though he lack experience.
Pique, he at least stopped a few of their plays.

I think no one was a good side this match. Alba looked good tho.

Also Bartra played better than Pique in my opinion. 1 or 2 mistakes but he is not that experienced yet and he's young (considering it was a match against Bayern Munchen - the best team club atm and everyone made mistakes).

- Actually I only want to vote for Pedro, but as that wouldn't count I had to add two other players.

I completely understand the folks who - for various reasons - didn't vote last night. I must admit, I couldn't stomach watching the full match myself, so I won't be voting either.
There's been a decent amount of votes, though, so I'll do the usual count when I get around to it, as much as it pains me. Kudos to the voters in either case.

Alves
Pedro

There wasn't a third player that deserves a mention.

Alves and pedro worked hard, pressed well even when their team mates didn't which ultimately let their work go to waste.

Pedro - nearly had an excellent assist to Messi, if not for Dante's last-ditch save. Defensive hero, stopped many Bayern attacks, the one player ahead of the defense who actually provided some shielding when out of possession.
Valdes
Pique

Playing Messi at his current fitness was a huge tactical error against such a physical and fit Bayern.
Alves is by far Barça's most wasteful player in the offensive side of the pitch. Would have been better strategy to line up and work Alba/Iniesta/Pedro on the left.

I haven't yet re-watched the 2nd half, but Barça was still incredible in the first half in the face of Bayern's pressure. No other team could have stood up toe-to-toe as well as they did and try to work the ball into the opponent's half. Bayern just simply didn't allow any space and never let up, and with a broken Messi walking around the midfield, there was rarely anywhere for Barça to go. This was an exceptional defensive display from Bayern more than anything else- really nothing particularly brilliant or entertaining about their offense this game.

This is difficult, but let's do this.
1. Alba-for his relentless trying, but has to root out antics.
2. Valdes- did not make mistakes at least
3. Pedro- just to name one here.
The best was definitely Pique's look. Right from the Con Air
