Also just a little update transfer wise for united, everything seems to have slowed right down and woody hasnt been briefing as much due to order from LvG it seems. Di Marzio reckons us and psg are front runners for Di Maria if he leaves and we both have shown interest with Mendes favouring a move to us for his client. He also states we have now made contact over vidal. Both seem unrealistic transfers but if we stump up the alot of cash they could happen. Vermaelen seems to be the centre half we will get. There is also a strange rumour in germany that we have made contact with wolfsburg for Rodriguez which is strange. Probably just a ploy from his agents to drive up interest/price.

Adidas pays the NBA an avg of $36M a year for the rights to outfit all the teams. Manchester United could cost adidas 3X that.

If he wants to leave there's not really too much we can do about it though, he'll be pretty much guaranteed a starting spot at United and I don't see him getting in between Koscielny and Mertesacker any time soon, so it'll come down to whether he's happy being third choice or not.
