I read something on Redcafe earlier about how we have played 8 games this season and have won 5 that carrick started and lost every game in which he hasn't. Now people say this might just be a coincidence but exactly the same happened last season....

I don't know why we didn't start with Carrick or Morgan alongside Schweinstieger on tuesday. How we play in the league is exactly the approach we should be taking away from home in europe but then LvG completely throws it out the window and goes with a ridiculous line up and we then get embarrassed.

I feel we have been let off by the media slightly due to the City and Arsenal results and also poor Luke breaking his leg. There should be huge pressure on us to get a convincing result away at Southampton this weekend.

Unless I'm wrong he was talking about the best player he's coached. Giggs, Scholes, Cantona, and Ronaldo above them.

edit: okay, that was a separate quote. Ferguson chose Ronaldo over messi when asked, using "Ronaldo's my boy" to justify his choice.

Bringing De gea back and Martial up top opening space for the rest, we have stepped up a gear. Cautiously optimistic with the next 5 or so difficult fixtures, LVG has done well in the big games where it is more open.

More than anything your midfield is super strong in the league.
