i'm not under the false illusion that clubs aren't businesses. they are, but what we don't see eye to eye on is whether capital preceded success or vice versa. now i'm not as deeply versed in the early years of united as i am not a united fan but what i can see from your post is that those investments were aimed at saving the club. i'm sure you and i can agree this isn't the case for PSG/city as the motive is clear: pump hundreds of millions and win the CL.

PSG might not be that far off the best clubs, but i wonder how much money Shittys eventual CL-trophy will cost....

And so on. So spare me the ethical, moral, or economic arguments for why the clubs you chose to support are more deserving of success than clubs that showed up late to the party.
