Its a shame really, its obvious signing RVP ruined Kagawa's time with us, cant shoehorn him into a position he isnt comfortable with and he wont ever get that center spot under Moyes i mean he did not even know who he was when he first came :(. Personally id prefer any of the 3 in behind Rooney or RVP alternating, Rooney/RVP has never been good enough together and its ruining our play especially with our fixation on wide play.

What do you mean Rooney/RvP not being good? They were great together last year, and I can't even argue against it lol. They were one of the reasons why they comfortably won the league last year. It's just now that Rooney/RvP, or more specifically... Rooney as a second striker that has become a problem. I really don't think RvP should be starting anymore after his comments though. And I think Rooney's best position has always been at striker. It's weird though that the English style seems to favor pure strikers. Rooney does a lot more than RvP, and he at striker will help a lot right now than the RvP moping. A movement of Rooney towards a real striker position and Kagawa (or Mata.. I really think Kagawa is better than Mata :p) towards CAM is a symbol of big change for the team, and I think SAF has always wanted this in the long run.

Yeah your right i meant this year, Rooney doesnt seem to drop as deep anymore so we cant connect with the forwards from midfield as much and when we do they both operate in the same area.I think for the balance of the team these two cant play together in CAM/ST especially as we have to fit better CAM's than Rooney out wide to accomodate them, your right one of RVP/Rooney has to leave or take a bit part role, not likely under Moyes wont take the risk. Kagawa could certainly put a claim in to being better or equal than Mata in the bundesliga, but hes been dire in the EPL, through no fault of his own i would say but in 2 years you would expect some integration with our system out wide even in the limited games hes had.

You seem to rate Kagawa highly, How do you think he would do in CM? Cant be worse than Clevs.

Cleverley is seriously not that bad.

You're probably right. But being 'not that bad' is nowhere near good enough for the Champions of the league. He's been a complete non-entity for us for a couple of seasons now, and as much as I'd have liked to see him do well for us, he really needs moving on at the end of the season.

You can't be serious? He'd get absolutely eaten alive. Far too weak to even consider having as a proper CM. He's a number 10, it's there or nowhere if he's going to be successful for us.

Cant be any worse than what we have, i mean in the champions league mainly. A bit more movement and creativity. Maybe even one of the cm in a 4-3-3? We are that far out of ideas and ability at the moment things like this are worth trying least i think so.

Manchester United will let Robin van Persie leave Old Trafford this summer – if they can land Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani, write Steve Bates and Tom Hopkinson of the Sunday People .

Van Persie, who has had to deny rumours of a rift with United boss David Moyes, cut a forlorn figure when taken off in the second half of the 3-0 win at West Brom yesterday.

His comments earlier this month that other players take his space did not go down well with team-mates.

And now Moyes is ready to cut his losses on the Dutchman, who has looked a shadow of the player who fired United to the title last season.

Van Persie cost United £24million when he moved from Arsenal and United would be looking to recoup £15m – although they may be lucky to get that for a 30-year-old.

Another stumbling block is the *salary of £180,000 a week pocketed by the striker, who is only halfway through a four-year deal.

Moyes has pursued Uruguayan star Cavani all season and is confident of signing the goal *machine for £58m.

Moyes is so delusional that it is becoming very comical.

Beside the fact that Cavani's agent said that Cavani will stay at PSG, English Medias and Moyes seem to think PSG will sell Cavani for the same price they paid for last summer despite an awesome season with PSG.

I said it before, but the way England looks at PSG is very insulting. I don't know what they think, maybe that PSG is some retarded club that will just bend over to them in fear of angrying the marvelous MU or Chelsea :neymar:

Continue to treat Nasser as if he was a retard. I'm sure that tactic will work :tata:

You take things way too seriously, lighten up lol. Any rumour about your club's players and you go on this massive defence and take offence. Relax, it's just rumours, they aren't hurting anyone. If Cavani is happy there then he's happy there, and I'm sure the club don't really care what others really think, as long as they continue to be successful.

Well, what you guys paid was WAY above his actual worth at that time anyhow. So... ;)

No Offence but no United fan wants Cavani....He's a terrific player but We've good too many players who are good at the No 10 position and I'll be seriously pissed off if we sign Cavani for 50 million instead of targeting Kroos and Gundogan..............Even if RVP leaves we should play play Mata or Kagawa in no 10 position....
