Kagawa and Mata were made for each other. Seriously though. Both of them together with Rooney absolutely stamped their technical dominance in the final third. People complained about Kagawa's performances, but I've been saying it for a long time but it's the system that has been failing him and this game really proves it. He had a decent amount of authority in the game, but he didn't crunch in many numbers though (not too much end product). He didn't kill the shape at LW like he did before which is awesome and expected when there is another tiki-taka minded player on the field. He with Mata created an incredible amount of chances, well over what Man U has been doing since the start of the season. The loss of RvP IMO is definitely a blessing in disguise.

If Man U want to offload him, we should really take him.......... I know most English fans don't find beauty in the pass and move style both Mata and Kagawa possess, but Kagawa is a natural tiki-taka player and I keep saying this but he'll definitely fit hand-in-glove with the system (honestly, Mata will not!). He can literally play the Iniesta role at CM (has the brain and just needs to close passing lanes in the system which he excels at), LW like Iniesta with a more forward-ish mindset (not as silky though which is a problem lol) and false 9 where IMO he's smarter but less silky Gotze. Honestly Kagawa is the steal of the year for us since he's also really cheap.

carvalho for 44 millions to manu official. according to the mirror
Ridiculous if true.....I don't know how good he is but for 44 million we could get Kroos or Gundogan......Kroos is possibly worth 30 million because of his contract situation and I'd use extra 14 million to offer him a huge contract that Bayern are reluctant to give him..........Does anyone know how good William Carvalho is?

Manchester United will rise again later with David Moyes to win the PL, hopefully. And fuck Chelsea for no obvious reason.

It's not that English fans don't like good passing and moving, of course we do. It's the keeping possession for keeping possession sake that we (generalising here as you were) tend to find boring. Like 'parking the bus', it's an effective strategy but unless the passing and moving has real purpose behind it, it's boring as hell.

The trio of kagawa, Mata and Rooney did look great though, and definitely helped us do what we have been lacking lately....shooting, and getting in good positions to do so. No doubt Moyes will revert to kagawa on the bench though in favour of RVP when he's fit, or even worse dropping Kagawa for Young.

He's looking good and could become a player, but he's 21 ffs, all this paper talk of £37 million is IMO just that. No way should we be paying that for a largely unproven player.

€44m for a DM? Fucking get in Moyes!! Pahahahah

Anyone seen him enough to say how good he is? Martinez went for that much too right? He wont be worth the buyout clause at this time but if hes good he could be with us for 10+ years might be worth it idk never seen him.

Do you not use Redcafe?.... there are a couple of Portuguese fans on there who know everything about the kid, and have been having a good discussion about him.

Heard many good things about him as well. Apparently a top, top talent. You might land him as you've been linked with him regulary lately, but for a more realistic and much lower amount of course.

Manchester United will finish the season with their lowest ever points total in the Premier League 'era'. Their previous lowest return was 75 points, the highest they can achieve this season is 72.

That starting 4-3-3 killed the game from the start. Moyes is way too reactionary as a manager for a top team. He tried to bring back a 4-2-3-1, but the rotation of players and roles really shows that there're some problems with their training regimen. Also the fact that he doesn't really specify roles either.... He should've started their strongest lineup (Kagawa-Mata start :p) but ended up again changing to a lineup that on paper would stifle Man City's team. But he needs to make his team work that exploits their weaknesses in order to play his way.
