I think the problem is I don't think Lucho See's Pique-Bartra as a good Partnership, Some say both players are too "Similar" to be a pair. In my opinion I think the biggest threat to Bartra isn't Masche,Verm,or Mathieu I think it's most Likely Pique that is the biggest reason Bartra isn't getting enough Play time.

Bartra was playing together with Pique last season and he was pretty good. In fact in majority of his appearances they were both TOGETHER on pitch.

All coaches absolutely love him whenever they are asked about him. Yet none of them seem to have any desire to actually play him. His minutes are going down despite him improving year to year. Time to jump ship, Marc.

Barcelona player Marc Bartra (24) is now Napoli's main centre back option. Bid expected next week, waited until after elections. [sms sky]

Their main option, huh? That's practically certain he'd be a starter there, then.

The chances are falling from the sky, Marc. Don't be dumb.

The man has to get the fuck out. Only reason why he's still here is Puyol and because his loves the club. He deserves a lot better. Run Marc, run.

Yeah, I agree. That's a damn shame. He's ruining his career by staying here. Imagine if he played for Chelsea and put up the kind of performance he did against PSG that he did for us. Benching him for the next 3 months would have looked ridiculous.

He wasnt even really a CB that day he was more of a RB/CB. Barca barely played that formation again and as good as he was in that game Pique and Masch were just better than him throughout the season.

Bartra wasnt hard done by and had a decent season but I still dont think managers fancy him physically against the better CFs.

Always a joy to see you're the latest reply to a thread I recently posted in when I have a new notification

No matter how you try to excuse it away he's seen his minutes take a drastic hit and his performances have done nothing to help him play any more as one could reasonably expect. For those reasons alone he should seriously consider leaving. If the other players in his position are just too good for him to even hope to play the most logical solution is to move elsewhere. At his highest point last season he was only 3rd choice, and with Mathieu and Vermaelen healthy you will say this exact same thing except you'll be saying all four of the other CBs have been better than him.

I actually find it kind of stupid how people still seem to think that this season will somehow go any different for him. His situation is getting worse, not better. When our CBs get too old we'll just go out and buy new ones instead of using him; we've already shown him we will.

Not trying to 'excuse' anything as nothing has been done wrong and the team was managed to a treble so the manager knows his players and that includes Barta.

If he wants to leave that is his choice, personally would rather he stays but up until now he has not done enough to be a starter the onus is on him to change that.
