Marc Bartra

He's well on his way to claiming a permanent starting position, great to see that Tata's given him well deserved playing time. We might not need to buy a CB after all if Bartra continues being so huge for us. Can't wait to see him develop in the CL vs teams in the knockout stages, that'll be the biggest learning experience that he hasn't faced yet.

Bartra was very good. A while ago I told people here to use some caution and restrain with the effusive praising of Bartra because that creates a false perception of a player being better than he actually is. Example Pique.

I still think restrain should be exercised because it is still early in his young career, however the kid has been fantastic. He has come out of nowhere and has been playing like he has manned the backline for Barca for years and years, not like someone who has played for just months.

Very impressive.

This is what truly was needed, for him to find the least of opportunities and it happpened with the injuries to start and prove himself, and he did in great way. I hope Tata seriously have thoughts about playing him regularly and not once in a bit for rotation and Injuries. I would still like one more new CB to pair with him and i think we can be very good. Let's just not overreact, he's doing really well and hope he continues that form but we shouldn't be excessive with him.

He's improving so much. And he's a natural leader. He'll have a great future, hopefully at Barça. Zubi needs to renew him ASAP.

its has i said way back then, you don't win best defender in the second division as a kid, if you crap, has to at the very least be good enough for most la liga teams.
