most of you guys probably doesn't notice his long passes. his long pass across the pitch is really good just like masherano's.

Bartra's last season performance along with the fact that im still sour about the club not going for a star CB signing were dampening my vision and to be frank the more i see Bartra this season, the more i grow in confidence of our young potential starting defender, happy to see him cope with the pressure and awaiting to see him perform well in the bigger matches (fingers crossed)

I would still like us to sign a defender in Jan nonetheless. But i have to say i'm less and less frustrated about that decision from our directors "Zubi probably" to not sign a CB this season.

Not signing anyone turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him and us. Very happy he's doing so well.

It really is. He's progressing much better that most people thought and with more matches and confidence he can turn into a real Gem. He's caught the eye of Del Bosque as well so that's a good sign. Would be great if he can make the WC squad for Brazil 2014, once he keeps up his current form and continues to improve. Come next summer we might not even need to think about a new CB signing. But his success really shows that sometimes we probably need to place more faith in the youngsters. Marc is just 22 and even though he's far from being a quality CB just yet, Puyol didnt become Puyol overnight. Just an example.

We don't need a CB as urgently as we did in the summer, but we still need one IMO. Puyol's 35 and injured most of the time, and other 3 CBs isn't enough. But we can wait until summer before buying a new CB. And with Bartra and Pique both performing well, we don't need a starting CB, we just need more depth. Assuming they keep it up and perform in the big games, of course.

That + that Masch got injured. Sometimes a seasoned starter needs to get injured for a youngster to get some time - this is what happened and Bartra really took advantage of it. So happy we keep producing players :)

Yeah...he's an amazing guy, the best thing that happened to us lately.

Loving Bartra's progress, by the way...turns out he's an amazing player(he already was very good but he's had some worse moments earlier and I had doubts about him but it has changed now)
