Great to see him get fitness but if a fit Bartra can't get playing time, i doubt Muniesa can especially if he is coming off a long term injury (you know how careful barcelona is with the players). This season i bet he'll mainly get playing time in some cup ties if the first leg is taken care of convincingly and in La Liga if Puyol/Pique/Masch need to be rested or after La Liga is mathematically won. However having him back gives us true depth in defense with 4/5 fullbacks and 5/6 centerbacks (depending on whether Abidal is used as a LB or CB). Hope our squad can stay injury free for a long time now *crosses fingers*

The team will register Abidal and that would make it 24 1st teamers (shouldn't Tello change his number, he played with 37 against Cordoba?? since he signed a 1st team contract) and currently both 20 and 24 jerseys are vacant, so Tello and Muniesa should be the 2 to fill them.

Disagree. They're still inexperienced. IMO, we should still buy a CB. Hummels would be perfect. Though he'd be fucking expensive. I like it though, Pique/Hummels with Puyol, Mascherano, Muniesa and Bartra to back them up. Maybe loan either Bartra or Muniesa to get them some playing time.

I rate him much much much higher than Batra. Never been scared to go in for a tackle. . . . Maybe that's why he gets so many injuries. So far only defender, along side Macky Frank Bagnack (too early) from the youth ranks, I think has a future with FCB. Just my opinion though.

Even if he is as good (doubtful ) Puyol didn't have half of the injuries Marc had and he is 14 years older
