He is supposed to be much better player than Bartra

Bartra was voted best defender of the Segunda last season, so if Muniesa is really much better than Bartra and considering Puyol doesn't get any younger, I don't get it why neither of them get playing time. Couldn't be worse than Mascherano; actually, I was quite impressed with the performances of Bartra this season.

He was better than bartra before all the injuries not so much since

I dunno, there are a lot of youngsters who make miraculous comebacks in form after cutting out injuries (Baptistao, Camacho, hell even Thiago counts considering all the injuries he's had). And playing for the B team will definitely get him the match time and conditioning he needs to make a return to the first team. I pray that he does succeed because I want a cantera to succeed Puyol.

You missed one generation
Puyol-->Hummels-->Muniesa

Hummels will likely be no less than 30-40 million and after the transfer of Neymar, I doubt we will show any interest in him. Plus the window of opportunity to buy him will likely be shut very soon as Dortmund are becoming European superpowers and will not be able to afford to sell star players (i.e Gotze, Reus, Hummels).

If not Hummels then any good defender like Howedes etc will do Muniesa is too young to be a succesor of Puyol. We cant skip a generation.

Well Muni is not going to suddenly become a regular starter tomorrow. He'll slowly be integrated into the squad as Puyol gets older and by the time he is 23 he will be rotating with Masch and Bartra. If he impresses enough, it won't be long before he claims a starting role over them by the time he's 24.

But in the meantime we need a replacement for Puyol now. I cant stand seeing Mascherano as a CB in important games when Pique/Puyol aren't available.

Playing Masch is a gamble, but one we'll have to live with for a while I suspect. Although our defense will be stronger in coming seasons as Montoya starts to overtake Alves.

The thing is we dont have to live with it. We are a big club. We can sign other good defenders if Hummels doesn't come. But our mngt refuses to see this. If we get a decent CB and goalkeeper (Since Valdes is leaving) we would be even more dominant than present

Well in theory yes, but do you honestly believe that the board will buy a new cb? Goalkeeper, probably (even then I'm not sure what kind of quality we will get). Until some truly solid interest is shown in a CB, I'm not ready to believe the club has taken a turn for the better in terms of transfers.

Why won't we? We haven't signed a CB since 2009 and nobody have proved himself yet from La Masia ,it sounds like just 3 years late tbh , with Abidal & Munisia has not made any indication that they can stay healthy ,Bartra being 22 and still can't get any playing time .I don't know but almost every barca fan realize we need a new CB
And with Afellay,Villa and may be Sanchez on their way to be sold ,Neymar insisting that he isn't moving b4 2014 (and possibly not for Barca too) ,it isn't like we can't spend on a CB this year

I agree with you but I'm not the Barcelona board. If they want to go for a CB transfer then please do so, there are many great options to consider: Marquinhos, Ramalho, Aurtenexte (plays as left back but is much better as CB), Inigo Martinez, etc. However for the time being we should think about the future that is more likely in comparison to what the club is doing now.
